THE MR. CHOUHAN PODCAST – PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY

WELCOME

A very warm welcome to The Mr. Chouhan Podcast – a platform built on trust, transparency, and meaningful conversations. Whether you're a sponsor supporting our mission, a brand partner collaborating with us, a special guest sharing your story, a book lover purchasing from us, or a loyal audience member adding funds to your wallet – you are an important part of our journey. This Payment & Refund Policy is designed to keep your experience simple, secure, and completely hassle-free. By making any payment or topping up your wallet, you agree to the terms outlined below. We request you to read them carefully.

Important: This policy is governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Nothing in this policy overrides your statutory rights as a consumer.

 

1. WHAT DOES THIS POLICY COVER?

This policy applies to all financial transactions made with The Mr. Chouhan Podcast, including but not limited to:

  • Sponsorships – Financial or in-kind support from brands and individuals.
  • Brand Promotions – Paid partnerships and promotional campaigns.
  • Guest Fees – Any charges paid by or to guests appearing on the show.
  • Book Sales – Both physical copies and digital versions sold by the podcast.
  • Monetization Earnings – Revenue generated from YouTube, Spotify, and other platforms (100% owned and retained by the podcast).
  • Wallet System – Funds added to your wallet for purchasing tickets, digital books, or other exclusive content.


2. TICKET PURCHASES

All ticket purchases on The Mr. Chouhan Podcast operate exclusively through the wallet system. Direct payments via UPI, debit/credit cards, or net banking are not accepted for tickets.

The minimum amount required to add funds to your wallet is subject to change. The podcast management reserves the right to increase or decrease this limit at any time. The applicable minimum will be displayed at the time of adding funds.

Wallet balance can only be utilized for future transactions within the podcast ecosystem, including tickets and digital books.

Under standard circumstances, no direct withdrawal of unused wallet balance to a bank account, UPI, or card is permitted.

If you hold a significant unused balance and wish to withdraw it, you must initiate account closure. A formal written application must be sent via email to the podcast support team.Upon successful verification and closure of your account, any remaining wallet balance shall be transferred to your registered bank account.

 

3. SPONSOR PAYMENTS

3.1 Direct Agreement with Mr. Chouhan

A written agreement explicitly signed by Mr. Chouhan is mandatory for all sponsorships. Payments shall be made via bank transfer only. Wallet payments are not accepted for sponsorships.

3.2 Refund Rules

Sponsorship fees are non-refundable once any agreed deliverable (logo placement, verbal mentions, social media posts, or other promotional content) has been partially or fully delivered.

A 75% refund may be granted only if all of the following conditions are met: no agreement has been signed (or within applicable cooling-off period), no work has commenced, and a written cancellation request is received at least 15 days before the scheduled episode.

3.3 Right to Cancel Sponsorship – Audience Unhappiness

The Mr. Chouhan Podcast reserves the right to terminate any sponsorship agreement immediately if, in the sole and reasonable editorial judgment of the host, the sponsor's brand identity, conduct, products, or public image causes audience unhappiness, discomfort, offense, or otherwise harms the reputation of the podcast. In such cases, any incurred expenses will be deducted from the amount paid, and the remaining balance, if any, shall be refunded to the sponsor.

3.4 Sponsor Cannot Sell Tickets

Sponsors are strictly prohibited from selling or reselling any podcast tickets. Any violation of this rule will result in immediate termination of the sponsorship agreement, forfeiture of all amounts paid, and a permanent ban from future association with the podcast.

3.5 No Authority of Team Members

No team member, employee, contractor, or associate of The Mr. Chouhan Podcast has the authority to bind the podcast to any sponsorship or financial commitment unless expressly authorized in writing by Mr. Chouhan himself. Only Mr. Chouhan can legally bind the podcast.

3.6 Indemnification & Liability Limit

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total liability of The Mr. Chouhan Podcast arising out of or relating to this sponsorship agreement shall be limited to the total amount actually paid by the sponsor to the podcast. The sponsor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the podcast and its host against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the sponsor's actions or breach of this policy.

3.7 Live Event Advertising by Sponsors

Sponsors are permitted to run advertisements or promotional campaigns for live events organized by The Mr. Chouhan Podcast. However, under no circumstances shall any sponsor collect, process, or facilitate ticket bookings on their own platform or through any third party. All ticket bookings for live events must be conducted exclusively through the official website of Mr. Chouhan. Any deviation from this rule will be treated as a material breach of this policy and may result in immediate termination of the sponsorship agreement and forfeiture of all amounts paid.

 

4. BRAND PROMOTION PAYMENTS

4.1 Direct Payment Only

All payments for brand promotions must be made via bank transfer against a valid invoice. Wallet payments are not accepted under any circumstances.

4.2 Delivery & Refund Rules

A schedule adjustment of up to 2 days is permitted. If the delivery delay exceeds 7 days from the agreed date, the brand shall be eligible for a full refund.

If cancellation is requested at least 10 days before the scheduled publication date, a 50% refund will be issued.

If cancellation is requested less than 10 days before the publication date, or after publication has occurred, no refund shall be provided.

No refund will be granted for reasons related to dislike of creative style, tone, audience response, or performance results.

4.3 Creative Control

The Mr. Chouhan Podcast retains full and sole creative control over all brand promotion content, including script, delivery, editing, and publication. No refund will be issued for disagreements regarding creative decisions after the content has been published.

4.4 Right to Cancel

The podcast reserves the right to cancel any brand promotion agreement immediately if the brand’s content, messaging, or materials are deemed inappropriate, misleading, offensive, or in violation of applicable laws. In such cases, a pro‑rata refund shall be provided for any work not yet completed.

4.5 Indemnification & Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of The Mr. Chouhan Podcast, its host, employees, or representatives arising from any brand promotion agreement shall be limited to the total amount actually paid by the brand to the podcast. Under no circumstances shall Mr. Chouhan or the podcast be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue, reputation, or business opportunities. The brand agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mr. Chouhan, the podcast, and all associated parties against any claims, damages, lawsuits, or expenses (including legal fees) resulting from the brand’s products, services, promotional content, or any breach of this policy.

4.6 This Policy Is Not Final – Signed Agreement Prevails

This online Payment & Refund Policy is a general framework and serves as the main refund policy for standard transactions. However, it is not final or binding in cases where a separate written agreement (paper contract) has been signed between the brand and Mr. Chouhan. In the event of any conflict between this policy and a signed written agreement, the terms of the signed paper agreement shall prevail and be considered final. Brands are advised to carefully review the signed document before execution.

 

5. GUEST FEE PAYMENTS (FOR PAID GUESTS)

The Mr. Chouhan Podcast invites guests free of cost only when their story, expertise, or content is selected by the podcast team as per editorial discretion. If an individual’s story is not selected for a free appearance, but they still wish to appear as a guest on the podcast, they may do so as a paid guest. Such paid guests are required to pay a pre‑determined fee. The following terms and conditions shall apply exclusively to paid guests. For the avoidance of doubt, free guests (whose stories are selected) are not bound by this section.

5.1 Payment Method

All paid guest fees shall be paid exclusively via bank transfer. Wallet payments are not accepted for guest fees under any circumstances.

5.2 Fee Structure

The applicable fee for a paid guest shall be communicated in writing by the podcast management. The fee may vary based on episode length, production requirements, or other factors. No fee is refundable unless expressly provided under Section 5.4 or 5.5 below.

5.3 Written Agreement Required

A written agreement signed by both Mr. Chouhan and the paid guest is mandatory before any payment is made or recording takes place. Verbal or informal commitments are not binding.

5.4 Refund Rules – Cancellation by Paid Guest (Before Recording Day)

If the paid guest cancels their appearance before the recording date:

  • 14 days or more before the scheduled recording date: 80% refund shall be issued after deducting any reasonable administrative or preparatory costs already incurred.
  • 7 to 14 days before the recording date: 40% refund shall be issued after deducting applicable costs.
  • Less than 7 days before recording date: No refund shall be provided.

5.5 No-Show on Recording Day – No Refund, Reschedule with Penalty (Final Chance Only)

If the paid guest fails to appear on the scheduled recording date without prior valid cancellation, no refund shall be provided under any circumstances. However, the guest may request a one‑time reschedule. To reschedule, the guest must pay a minimum penalty as determined by the podcast management. The penalty amount shall be communicated in writing at the time of rescheduling. The new recording date will be considered the final and last opportunity. If the guest fails to appear on the rescheduled date for any reason, no further rescheduling shall be allowed, and no amount (including the original fee or penalty) shall be refunded.

5.6 Refund Rules – Cancellation by Podcast

If the podcast cancels the episode for reasons not attributable to the paid guest (e.g., technical issues, schedule conflicts, or other valid reasons), the paid guest shall receive a full refund or may choose to reschedule the recording at no additional cost.

However, if the cancellation is due to a guest conduct violation – including but not limited to inappropriate behavior, breach of confidentiality, use of offensive language, or violation of the signed agreement – no refund shall be provided.

5.7 No Guarantee of Episode Release

The paid guest acknowledges that the podcast retains full editorial discretion. Even after successful recording, the episode may not be published for editorial, technical, or strategic reasons. In such cases, no refund shall be owed to the paid guest.

5.8 Indemnification & Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of The Mr. Chouhan Podcast, its host, or representatives arising from any paid guest agreement shall be limited to the total fee actually paid by the guest to the podcast. Under no circumstances shall Mr. Chouhan or the podcast be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of publicity, reputation, or business opportunities. The paid guest agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Mr. Chouhan and the podcast against any claims, damages, or expenses resulting from the guest's conduct, statements, or breach of this policy.

5.9 This Policy Is Not Final – Signed Agreement Prevails

This Payment & Refund Policy serves as a general framework for paid guest transactions. However, it is not final or binding in cases where a separate written agreement (paper contract) has been signed between the paid guest and Mr. Chouhan. In the event of any conflict between this policy and a signed written agreement, the terms of the signed paper agreement shall prevail and be considered final. Paid guests are advised to carefully review the signed document before execution.

 

 

6. MONETIZATION EARNINGS

All revenue generated from any platform – including but not limited to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Facebook, Instagram, Amazon Music, Google Podcasts, TikTok, or any other current or future digital platform – belongs solely and exclusively to THE MR. CHOUHAN PODCAST and Mr. Chouhan.

No sponsor, no guest, no affiliate, no third party, no individual or entity has any right, claim, or share in these monetization earnings.

  • ❌ No sharing – We do not share ad revenue, streaming royalties, Super Chats, channel memberships, subscription income, or any other platform payout.
  • ❌ No refunds – Monetization earnings are non-refundable to anyone.
  • ❌ No exceptions – Without a separate written agreement signed personally by Mr. Chouhan before the content is created, no one is entitled to any portion of these earnings.

In simple words: Whether you are a sponsor paying for a feature, a guest appearing on the show, or a brand collaborating with us – you will never receive any share of YouTube ad revenue, Spotify streams, or any other platform income. This revenue belongs only to THE MR. CHOUHAN PODCAST and Mr. Chouhan.

Any dispute regarding monetization earnings will be resolved under the governing law and jurisdiction mentioned in this policy. No verbal promise, email, or informal discussion creates any obligation.

 

7. BOOK SALES – PHYSICAL & DIGITAL

7.1 Physical Books – Payment Options

You can purchase physical books using either of the following methods:

  • From Wallet – If you have sufficient wallet balance, you can pay directly from your wallet.
  • Direct Payment – UPI, credit card, debit card, or bank transfer. Wallet is not required for physical books.

All physical book orders are subject to availability. If a title is out of stock, we will notify you within 5 business days and issue a full refund to your original payment method or wallet (as applicable).

7.2 Digital Books (eBooks, PDFs) – Wallet Only

All digital products – including eBooks, PDF guides, downloadable workbooks, and any other digital content – must be purchased using your wallet balance. No direct payment (UPI, card, bank transfer) is accepted for digital books.

Once your wallet payment is successful, you will receive an instant download link via email. You are solely responsible for saving the file securely. The download link will expire after 7 days or 3 download attempts, whichever occurs first. No refund will be provided if you fail to download within this period.

7.3 Refund Rules for Physical Books

7.4 Refund Rules for Digital Books (eBooks, PDFs)

  • No refund once the file has been downloaded or accessed, for any reason – including accidental purchase, change of mind, or device incompatibility.
  • Only exception: If the file is corrupted or completely unreadable. In such a case, contact us within 3 days of purchase with evidence. We will provide a working replacement copy at no charge. No cash refund – only replacement.
  • If you purchase a digital book by mistake, no refund will be given. Double‑check your selection before completing the wallet payment.

7.5 Refund for Wallet Purchases

If a refund is approved for any book (physical or digital) purchased using your wallet:

  • The refund amount will be credited back to your wallet only (except when you close your account – see Section 8.7).
  • No bank transfer, UPI transfer, or cash withdrawal is permitted. This wallet refund can be used for future purchases on our platform.

7.6 Delivery Timelines

  • Physical books: Standard delivery within 7–10 business days after dispatch. Dispatch typically occurs within 2–3 business days of order confirmation. International shipping times may vary and are not guaranteed.
  • Digital books: Instant download link sent to your registered email within 5 minutes of successful wallet payment. If you do not receive the link, check your spam folder or contact us within 24 hours.

7.7 No Authority of Team Members

No team member, employee, volunteer, or any person other than Mr. Chouhan (or his explicitly authorized legal representative) has the authority to:

  • Offer free books, discounts, or free shipping beyond what is published on the official website.
  • Waive any refund, return, or shipping charge condition.
  • Promise expedited shipping or special handling.
  • Authorize a refund for a digital book after download.

Any representation made by a team member without Mr. Chouhan’s express written consent shall be unauthorized and non‑binding. THE MR. CHOUHAN PODCAST and Mr. Chouhan shall not be liable for any such unauthorized promises.

7.8 Indemnification and Limitation of Liability

By purchasing a book (physical or digital) from THE MR. CHOUHAN PODCAST, you agree that the content of the book is for informational or entertainment purposes only. THE MR. CHOUHAN PODCAST and Mr. Chouhan shall not be liable for any actions you take or fail to take based on the book’s content.

Maximum aggregate liability of THE MR. CHOUHAN PODCAST and Mr. Chouhan for any book purchase shall never exceed the actual price paid by you for that specific book (excluding shipping charges). Under no circumstances shall Mr. Chouhan or THE MR. CHOUHAN PODCAST be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the purchase, delivery, use, or inability to use the book, including lost time, lost profits, or emotional distress.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless THE MR. CHOUHAN PODCAST and Mr. Chouhan from any third‑party claims arising from your use or distribution of the book content.

 

 

8. WALLET SYSTEM – No Fees, Simple

8.1 What is the Wallet?

The Wallet is a virtual account within THE MR. CHOUHAN PODCAST platform. You can use it only to buy tickets for events and digital books. During normal use, you cannot withdraw money from this wallet to your bank account, UPI, or card. It is not a savings or current account.

8.2 How to Add Money

  • Minimum amount: ₹300 per transaction.
  • Maximum amount: Subject to change from time to time. The platform may increase or decrease the maximum add limit at its discretion. Current maximum add limit will be shown in the app/payment page.
  • Methods accepted: UPI, credit/debit card, net banking, bank transfer.
  • Credit time: Instant after successful payment.
  • Note: The platform reserves the right to change add money limits without prior notice based on business or regulatory requirements.

8.3 How to Pay

When you buy a ticket or a digital book, go to checkout and select “Pay from Wallet”. Your wallet balance must cover the full order amount. Split payments (part wallet + part other method) are not allowed.

8.4 General No‑Withdrawal Rule

Your wallet balance is non‑withdraw-able during normal use. You cannot ask for a cash refund or transfer to your bank just because you changed your mind. Exceptions only in these cases:

  • Required by law.
  • Payment error from platform side.
  • Fraud or unauthorized transaction.
  • Permanent account closure (see section 8.7).

8.5 No Maintenance Fee

THE MR. CHOUHAN PODCAST charges zero fees. There is no inactivity fee, no maintenance fee, no monthly or annual charge. Your wallet balance will never decrease because of any fee.

8.6 No Transfer Between Wallets

Wallet balances are non‑transferable. You cannot send money from your wallet to another user’s wallet. If you want to give a gift, purchase the item (ticket/book) using your wallet and share the download link or ticket with the recipient.

8.7 Account Closure – Refund to Your Bank Account

You can permanently close your wallet/account at any time via the app settings or by emailing support. Once closed:

  • The entire remaining wallet balance will be refunded to the original payment method (bank account, UPI, or card) that you used to add money.
  • No store credit, no VIP ticket, no exchange – only money back.
  • Refund is processed within 15 business days from the date of closure request.

8.8 Limits

  • Minimum add per transaction: ₹300.
  • Maximum wallet balance: ₹50,000 (at any point in time).
  • Maximum add per transaction: May vary – check the app at the time of adding money.
  • The platform may revise these limits from time to time.

8.9 Accidental Funding – 24‑Hour Case‑by‑Case Review

If you added money to your wallet by mistake (e.g., wrong amount, wrong account, or technical glitch), you must email us within 24 hours of the transaction. Provide: transaction ID, date, amount, and a clear explanation. We review each request case‑by‑case. Approval is not guaranteed.

  • If approved, we will reverse the transaction within 7 days to your original payment method.
  • If you do not report within 24 hours, the amount stays in your wallet. After 24 hours, you can only withdraw that amount by closing your account (section 8.7).

8.10 Refunds to Wallet

If you request a refund for a ticket or digital book purchase (as per our refund policy), the refunded amount will be credited back to your wallet, not to your bank account. The only time money goes to your bank is when you permanently close your account (section 8.7).

8.11 Non‑Interest Bearing

Your wallet balance does not earn any interest. It is not a deposit account or investment product.

8.12 Suspension & Security

We may suspend or freeze your wallet immediately if we suspect fraud, unauthorised access, or violation of our terms. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials (password, OTP, email) secure. Do not share your account details with anyone.

8.13 Liability Limit

In any dispute or claim related to the wallet, our maximum total liability is limited to your current wallet balance at the time of the incident. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses.

 

9. REFUND RULES – WALLET VS DIRECT PAYMENT

9.1 Refund to Wallet

If you purchase tickets or digital books using any payment method (wallet, UPI, card, etc.), any approved refund will be credited back to your Comeback Man Podcast Wallet, not to your bank account. You can use that wallet balance for future purchases. To get that money to your bank, you must permanently close your wallet account (see section 8.7).

9.2 Refund to Original Payment Method

For the following types of purchases, approved refunds will be sent back to your original payment method (bank account, UPI, or card) within 30 days from the date of refund approval:

  • Sponsorship bookings
  • Brand promotion packages
  • Guest appearance fees
  • Physical books (shipped to your address)
  • Any other service clearly marked as “direct refund eligible” at the time of purchase

These refunds go directly to your bank/UPI/card because they are not standard digital content purchases.

9.3 No Refund After Delivery (With Exception for Damaged Products)

General rule: Once the service or product has been delivered, no refund is provided.

  • “Delivered” means:
  • For podcast episodes: after the episode is published.
  • For brand promotions: after the post goes live.
  • For guest fees: after the recording or appearance is completed.
  • For physical books: after the book is shipped.

Exception – Damaged, defective, or wrong physical product:

If you receive a physical book that is damaged, has missing pages, is defective, or is the wrong title, you are eligible for a full refund or replacement as per section 7.3. You must report the issue within 7 days of delivery with photo/video evidence.

9.4 Charge backs

A charge back means asking your bank or card company to reverse a payment without first contacting us.

  • If you file a fraudulent charge back (i.e., you received the product/service but still reversed the payment), we will:
  • Permanently ban your account from all future purchases.
  • Take legal action to recover the amount plus our costs.
  • If you have a genuine issue, always request a refund through us first (section 9.5). Do not file a chargeback without contacting us.

9.5 How to Request a Refund

To request any refund, send an email to our support address with the following:

  • Transaction ID (from your payment receipt or wallet history)
  • Clear reason for refund (e.g., damaged book, accidental purchase, service not delivered)
  • Supporting documents (screenshots, photos, videos, bank statement, etc.)

We will review your request and respond within 30 days. Refund processing time starts after approval.

Note: Approval is not automatic. Each request is reviewed case‑by‑case as per the rules above.

10. DISPUTES AND RESOLUTION

10.1 How to Raise a Complaint

If you have any complaint or dispute regarding your wallet, payment, refund, ticket, book, or any service from THE MR. CHOUHAN PODCAST, you must raise it in writing.

  • Send an email to our official support address with the following complete details:
  • Your full name (as registered)
  • Transaction ID (if applicable)
  • Date of transaction or incident
  • Amount involved
  • Clear description of the issue
  • Any supporting documents (screenshots, receipts, photos)

Complaints via phone or social media comments will not be considered formally. You must email.

10.2 Response Time-frame

  • Acknowledgment: We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within 5 business days from the date of your email.
  • Resolution: We will investigate and provide a final resolution within 30 business days from the acknowledgment date.
  • If we need more information from you, the timeline may pause until you respond.

10.3 Gift Voucher

A Gift Voucher is a separate product that can be purchased. It is not a wallet‑to‑wallet transfer.

  • You cannot convert your wallet balance into a gift voucher.
  • You cannot send money from your wallet to another person’s wallet.
  • If you want to gift someone, buy a gift voucher directly (if available) or purchase an item and share the link/ticket.

10.4 Mediation, Arbitration, and Jurisdiction

If your dispute is not resolved through our internal complaint process (section 10.1 and 10.2), the following steps apply:

Step 1 – Mediation in Mandsaur (15 days)

  • Both parties must first attempt mediation.
  • Mediation will be held in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh.
  • The mediation process will last no more than 15 days.
  • Mediation is a voluntary, informal process where a neutral person helps both sides reach an agreement.

Step 2 – Binding Arbitration

  • If mediation fails, the dispute will be referred to binding arbitration.
  • Arbitration will be conducted under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (India).
  • The arbitration will take place in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh.
  • The decision of the arbitrator is final and binding on both parties.

Exclusive Jurisdiction of Courts

  • Any legal matter not covered by arbitration (or for enforcement of arbitration award) shall be filed only in the courts of Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh. No other court anywhere in India or abroad has jurisdiction.

Important – Your Consumer Rights are NOT affected

  • Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
  • Statutory rights (rights given by law) cannot be waived or taken away by this policy.

11.1 Updates to This Policy

We may update or modify this Wallet and Refund Policy from time to time for legal, business, or operational reasons.

  • The latest version will always be published on our official website and/or inside the app.
  • Any change will be effective immediately upon posting.
  • Your continued use of the wallet, platform, or any service after the updated policy is posted means you have accepted the changes.
  • If you do not agree with any change, you may close your account permanently (see section 8.7) and withdraw your balance to your bank.

11.2 Governing Law

This entire policy, your wallet account, all transactions, refunds, and disputes are governed exclusively by the laws of India. Any question or dispute will be interpreted and decided only according to Indian law.

11.3 Exclusive Jurisdiction

For any legal matter arising out of or related to this policy, the wallet, or your use of the platform, the courts in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh alone shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

  • No other court in India or outside India has the authority to hear such matters.
  • This applies to all claims, disputes, or lawsuits, whether based on contract, tort, consumer law, or any other legal theory
  • Important: Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. You may also approach consumer forums as permitted by law.
